Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 October 2026
These terms apply when you use aima, the web app at aima.davidentrena.com. By using aima you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. In these terms, "we" means the developer of aima.
What aima is
aima is a personal tool that shows information about a household's money, read from one Google Sheet: a total, the parts it is made of, and a spending goal. It only reads data; it never changes the sheet. aima is free.
Who can use it
- You need a Google Account to sign in.
- You can only see the data if the spreadsheet is shared with your Google Account. The owner of the spreadsheet decides this in Google Sheets, not aima.
- You must be at least 14 years old.
Your responsibilities
- Keep your Google Account and your device secure.
- Use aima only for its purpose and in line with the law.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the app or the services it uses, and do not try to reach data that is not shared with you.
Google services
aima uses Google sign-in and Google Sheets. Your use of them is also covered by Google's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.
Your data
How aima uses information is explained in the Privacy Policy. In short: everything happens in your browser, and we do not receive or keep your data.
No financial advice
aima only shows numbers worked out from the spreadsheet. They are as correct as the data in the sheet. aima does not give financial, tax or legal advice. Please check important numbers yourself before you make decisions.
Availability and changes
We may change, pause or stop aima at any time, with or without notice. aima may sometimes not be available, for example when Google or the hosting service are not available.
No warranty
aima is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, as far as the law allows. We do not promise that it will be free of errors or always available.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using aima or from not being able to use it, including decisions made from the numbers it shows. Nothing in these terms limits rights that you have by law and that cannot be limited, for example as a consumer.
The app's code
aima's source code is published under the MIT License. The data in the spreadsheet belongs to its owner.
Ending use
You can stop using aima at any time: sign out, and remove its access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. Access to the data ends when the spreadsheet is no longer shared with you.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top. If you keep using aima after a change, you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you use aima as a consumer, you also keep any protection that the law of your country of residence gives you.
